Crimson Concepts Media (“Crimson Concepts,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates crimsonmoments.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using this Site or engaging our services, you agree to the practices described here.
Information you give us directly, through our enquiry form, email, or WhatsApp:
Information collected automatically, via the analytics and advertising tools active on this Site (see Section 8, Cookies & Tracking Technologies):
We do not collect payment card details through the Site. Payments are handled directly via mobile money, bank transfer, or cash, as arranged with you individually.
We use the information you provide to:
As a photography studio, showcasing our work is central to how we attract new clients. By default, and unless you tell us otherwise in writing, we retain the right to use images and video from your session:
This mirrors the image-usage terms set out in our Terms of Service: delivered images are yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes, and by default we also retain the right to use them in our own marketing. If you’d prefer some or all of your images not be used publicly (common for corporate clients, public figures, or couples who simply prefer privacy), this can be arranged for an additional fee, as this affects our own marketing use. Full exclusivity is also available for a separate fee. Private, personal, or sensitive moments (getting-ready details, family disputes, etc.) are never shared publicly without your permission, regardless of these arrangements.
We do not sell your information. We may share it with:
Some of the providers listed above (including Google, Meta, and cloud storage or gallery-delivery platforms) may process information outside Ghana. Where this happens, we work with reputable providers and take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be handled securely and in line with this Policy.
We keep enquiry and client information for as long as reasonably needed to deliver your session, respond to any follow-up questions, and meet accounting or legal obligations. Delivered galleries are archived indefinitely unless you request deletion.
Under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the details below. We aim to respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.
When you first visit this Site, you’ll see a cookie banner. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel do not load until you choose “Accept All.” If you choose “Necessary Only,” neither tool loads, and no analytics or advertising cookies are set.
If you accept, this Site uses:
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of this page, or by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings (which may affect some Site functionality).
This Site itself is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information through our enquiry form or other Site features from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian’s involvement.
As a family and event photography studio, however, our sessions often include children — at weddings, family and maternity shoots, and events. If you book a session with us as a parent or guardian, this constitutes your consent for your own minor children to appear in that session’s photography and video, as described in our Terms of Service. Where other minors appear incidentally in event coverage (for example, guests’ children at a wedding), we rely on the event host or that child’s own parent or guardian for consent, both to be photographed and for any public use of those images in our marketing. If you are a parent or guardian and would like a specific image of a minor removed from our public portfolio, website, or social media, contact us and we will act promptly.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and, where required by law, Ghana’s Data Protection Commission, without undue delay.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
